Sales & Service Representative

Position Summary

Frigid Fluid Company is seeking a motivated, disciplined, and mechanically inclined Sales & Service Representative to join our growing team.

This hybrid role combines outside sales, product demonstrations, equipment installation, preventative maintenance, and field service. The ideal candidate enjoys building strong customer relationships, solving mechanical challenges, and traveling throughout their assigned territory to support funeral homes and cemeteries.

This position requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors in cemetery environments under various weather conditions—including extreme Florida heat—while servicing and repairing casket lowering devices, cemetery lifts, and other cemetery equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with funeral homes, cemeteries, distributors, and industry professionals.
  
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, customer visits, referrals, and networking.
  
• Conduct product demonstrations and educational presentations for customers and industry groups.
  
• Represent Frigid Fluid at trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
  
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
  
• Prepare quotations, follow up on opportunities, and maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM software.
  

Field Service & Technical Support

• Install, inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair casket lowering devices, cemetery lifts, and related cemetery equipment.
  
• Perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs in the field.
  
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues while providing effective solutions.
  
• Educate customers on the proper operation, maintenance, and safety procedures for Frigid Fluid equipment.
  
• Complete service reports, inspection documentation, expense reports, and customer follow-up in a timely manner.
  

Operations & Team Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with the sales, service, production, and office teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
  
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, service inventory, and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
  
• Travel frequently throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
  

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in outside sales and field service.
  
• 2–5 years of experience in outside sales, field service, mechanical service, or industrial equipment.
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  
• Experience safely using hand and power tools.
  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
  
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures, humidity, rain, and uneven terrain commonly found in cemeteries.
  
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial equipment, hydraulic systems, mechanical systems, or electrical troubleshooting.
  
• Experience in the funeral, cemetery, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial service industries.
  
• OSHA or other workplace safety training.
  
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
