Step 1
Skin Preparation
A successful cosmetic application begins
with properly prepared skin. When preparing to do cosmetics, gently cleanse the surface of the skin to remove residual topical cream and restore a workable texture. This step ensures cosmetics apply evenly and prevents patchy or uneven color. -
Step 2
Color Correction
Before applying the foundation color, assess the natural undertone of the skin and address any discoloration. Frigid Fluid Color Correctors help neutralize areas of discoloration while restoring warmth and vitality. Establishing the correct undertone at this stage creates the base for a more lifelike appearance.

Setting Spray
Lightly mist the frigid Setting Spray between each cosmetic layer to help lock the makeup in place and reduce the chance of transfer if a loved one gently touches the kin.

Foundation Application
Frigid Fluid Foundation Cosmetics provide smooth, blendable coverage designed specifically for both post-embalming and unembalmed skin conditions. Apply foundation in thin, controlled layers, gradually building coverage until a natural skin tone is achieved. Natural skin is never a single flat color or tone. Subtle variations of color appear cross the face, particularly in areas such as the cheeks, temples, and around the nose and eyes. After foundation is applied, gently blend soft blush tones or darker hues of their skin color to recreate this natural variegation. Applying color lightly and gradually allows the complexion to appear more dimensional and lifelike, restoring the gentle warmth and dimension that families associate with their loved one.
