Key Responsibilities:
• Cemetery Service & Sales:
• Contact cemetery managers to offer casket lowering device services.
• Gather necessary information for generating quotes, including billing and shipping details.
• Liaise with headquarters to create and send quotes to potential customers.
• Confirm service dates with cemetery managers.
• Schedule multiple service visits within the region.
• Prepare tools and parts required for servicing casket lowering devices.
• Sales and Relationship Building:
• Identify opportunities to upsell embalming products to funeral homes within the service area.
• Contact funeral directors or embalmers to schedule appointments.
• Visit funeral homes to introduce products and solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the funeral industry
• Trip Planning and Execution:
• Plan travel itinerary for service visits and sales appointments
.• Pack necessary equipment and materials for servicing and sales presentations.
• Travel to designated cemeteries and funeral homes.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on casket lowering devices.
• Provide customers with service reports and product information.
• Submit orders and relevant information to headquarters upon completion of visits.
Day-to-Day Activities:
• Preparation Phase:
• Review scheduled service visits and sales appointments.
• Prepare necessary tools and equipment for servicing.
• Confirm details with cemetery managers and funeral homes.
• Service Visit Phase:
• Travel to designated cemeteries.
• Conduct repairs and servicing of casket lowering devices.
• Document service activities and provide reports to customers.
• Travel to scheduled funeral homes.
• Present products and solutions to funeral directors.
• Follow-up Phase:
• Submit orders and customer information to headquarters.
• Update customer records and follow up on potential leads.
• Plan for upcoming service visits and sales appointments.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in sales or service roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and organize travel itineraries efficiently.
• Technical aptitude for servicing mechanical equipment.
• Ability to execute service visits in variable weather conditions.
• Knowledge of the funeral industry is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary: $60000-$90000 based on experience, plus commission and End of the Year Bonus.
• Monthly Car Allowance $500
• 10% commission on new business
• Total Compensation: Potential to $120000 Uncapped
